Rosalind Marfo is a Research Assistant at PRRI.
After completing a PRRI internship in Fall 2022, Rosalind went on to work in the Maryland General Assembly as a member of District 27A’s office. In this role, she networked with various leaders of Maryland’s legislative branch and witnessed firsthand the process of state-level lawmaking. The next year, she worked as a research assistant for a team at the University of Maryland and gained a deeper understanding of the research process in the position. During her time at the Southern Poverty Law Center, she applied these skills to learning more about the economic and social climate of states in the Deep South.
Rosalind was born and raised as a first-generation Ghanaian-American in the suburbs of Baltimore County. She earned a B.A. in public policy from the University of Maryland (UMD) in 2024 and went on to receive her M.P.P. from UMD the next year.Â
