USAToday reports that Ken Paxton, the Republican nominee for the Texas U.S. Senate race, recently met with President Trump at the White House.

In Texas, a little less than a third of the population are Republicans while half are either Democrats or independents.

This data comes from a PRRI survey of 877 Texas residents that was conducted online between February 28 and December 8, 2025. The margin of error is +/- 4.3 percentage points at the 95% level of confidence.
