2026-2027 PRRI Public Fellows Open Call Now Closed

The PRRI Public Fellows program, founded in 2017, promotes and supports interdisciplinary public scholarship through a cohort of emerging scholar-leaders from across the humanities, humanistic social sciences, and empirical social sciences. With support from the Mellon Foundation and the Henry Luce Foundation, the program for the 2026-2027 fellowship year will include 9 scholars working across the following major areas of PRRI’s work: Pluralism and Democracy, Immigration and American Society, and LGBTQ Rights and Gender Politics.

The PRRI Public Fellows program will offer a $5,000 annual stipend for each fellow and annual microgrants of $10,000 in each area of research to foster collaborative new scholarship and professional relationships among the cohort.

The open call for the 2026-2027 cohort of PRRI Public Fellows is now closed. Thank you to all who applied.
