This year, PRRI published results from two surveys, which examined Americans’ attitudes when it comes to immigrants and immigration policy.

What’s Buzzing:

According to the 2024 PRRI American Values Survey, one-third of Americans (34%) say that immigrants entering the country illegally today are poisoning the blood of our country, while 63% of Americans disagree. Six in ten Republicans (61%) agree with this statement, compared with 30% of independents and only 13% of Democrats.
